New to This..!!

I am starting this blog to share my story.. and to hopefully inspire others to find the best moments in their day! I am nervous, not knowing for sure how to get this all going! We'll see how it goes! I am in the "full-swing" of motherhood as we speak! My husband & I have 4 children!
Our oldest, Makenna is now 8.5 yrs old. I am not sure where our time has gone! I woke up the other morning, thinking of the day she was born, and what I was going through. She was having trouble breathing, and was placed in the NICU shortly after her birth. I remember being so scared. I was barely 23 yrs old, and was not sure what was going on. I remember praying so hard in the hospital chapel. At the time, I was Christian (or considered myself to be), but I did not know the Lord. It was just something "you did" when something was going wrong. I remember asking him, to make her better, do not take her away from me. Now - 8 yrs later, I think about the blessing she is to our family. She is such a loving, caring child . She thinks of others before herself. She sees the good even in the bad. And she is wanting to learn.. and asking all sorts of "big" questions about life. I love this age, I love her open mind to new people and new ideas. To only be 8 again!
Our only son, Mason is going to be 7 the end of June. He started school this year, which has been quite the adventure!!! I can say its tough to be the only boy in the family! And mom has come to realize boys will be boys! But as with anything else in life, there is a learning curve.. and I'm getting it figured out! He is a very sweet little guy, with a sensitive side (which his future wife will adore)! He loves to fish and bike! He is a momma's boy. The other day he said to me, "mom , after you left school the other day, I couldn't stop thinking about you! I Missed you so much".. He just melted my heart! =) I love his smile and his bright, big blue eyes!
Our 3rd child, our 2nd daughter ~ Myana is 4.5. She is the "Princess" of this castle!!! She loves to be dressed up, nails polished, trying on shoes... she loves all things "pretty"!! She is my spirited child.. tests me everyday to see if I will stand my ground! When she is happy, she is always super happy, but when she is angry, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT! I know someday her persistance will pay off! (but right now- it takes mom & dad to their limit!!) She is very insightful, and will think of things to say you could never imagine a 4.5 yr old knowing. God gave her a special gift in seeing things others can not. She is super sweet, and can make you smile even in the hardest of times.
Our 4th child, our 3rd daughter,our baby, Melody is 1.5, turning 2 in August.. .did I just say 2?! Wow.. the 2 yrs has gone by so incredibly fast! She came into this world with eager parents.. wanting her to be a part of our family. We almost started to believe after (months & months of not being able to conceive), that she would never happen. What a blessing she has been.. and is .. She has the most carefree, laid back personality. She loves to be loved, she loves to make everyone around her happy! She is also my 1st little monkey.. climbing onto everything!!! She is very independent, and plays well by herself. She is SO LOVED by her siblings! I think about how lucky she is to be the 4th of 4.. and not only having the love from us, as her parents, but the love she receives from her siblings!
So just a peak into a small portion of my story... my family =) I owe it all to God for the blessings I have. I hope you continue to follow as I move along...
